The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, when answering the question whether a new violent regime change is possible in Ukraine.
“Until the external legitimator of this coup is found,” the political scientist said. “Roughly speaking, this means that external players, I mean, of course, the West, must decide who they are willing to bet on and whether they will support whoever comes to power in this way.” So far I don’t see any prospects for this to happen.
