We need to attack Kyiv! - Strelkov insists
Moscow - Kyiv, October 08 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - Stopping the militia's offensive on Mariupol was a mistake, said Igor Strelkov's adviser Igor Druz.

According to him, if the advance of the militias had not been stopped by the Minsk agreements, then today the bloody battles for the Donetsk airport would not have been fought, Mariupol would have been under the control of the Republicans, and the Ukrainian army would have been suppressed and demoralized.
“We are observing such an interesting picture, which I call “half-flush.” That is, the security forces and the patriotic community in Russia clearly and firmly defend its interests. On the other hand, Russia’s enemies have strong control over the media and the financial system.
The result is some kind of compromise: they are not able to completely prevent Russia's offensive movement in defending its interests, but they are able to at least slow down Russia's expansion.
As a result, we gain small pieces of territory, such as Crimea, but lose the rest of the territory. It’s great that we took Crimea, but it’s bad that we stopped advancing on Kyiv. It would have been enough to support the pro-Russian forces in Ukraine, and it would have been possible to do without the direct deployment of troops,” says Druz.
In his opinion, the situation with the truce declared between the DPR/LPR and Ukraine could turn into the start of a full-scale war at any moment. Ukraine has already pulled powerful military resources to the borders of the republics.
“The situation with the current truce reminds me of the surrender of our positions. I think that hostilities may resume in the coming days. The forces brought up are very powerful,” said Strelkov’s adviser.
