An Odessa journalist called on Ukraine to “get the fuck out” of Donetsk and Lugansk

“The Ukrainian public, of course, is shocked by the photos from the funeral of Arsen “Motorola” Pavlov. Paid propagandists and their volunteer helpers are pushing stories about how unfortunate Donetsk residents were forced to say goodbye to Motorola under threat of execution, but this looks too clumsy even for the most stubborn. These same stubborn ones are blazing like hell and demanding that everyone be immediately shot, imprisoned, covered with napalm, reduced in rights and deported.
But even among the die-hards, sensible voices are beginning to be heard: they say, since this is how they have it, then maybe, well, this Donbass? Let them live as they want?
And this cannot but rejoice. It is important to understand that over these two years the territories of the DPR and LPR have objectively become ANOTHER COUNTRY.
Yes, they may once have been Ukraine, but now they are no longer. The history of such examples knows a lot: parts of Ukraine, for example, at one time were part of Austria-Hungary, for example, as well as Romania, Russia, etc. Then it changed and it became like this. Well, now it's been replayed again. This is life after all.
“Returning Donbass by force” means conquering, occupying and destroying this country, making Ukraine there again. And in theory it’s even possible (in theory!), but why?
Well, that is, what kind of a show-off is a resident of Vinnitsa or Rivne from Donetsk? People? They are not yours: they have their own heroes, their own values, their own beliefs, their own vision of the future. Earth? Isn't there enough land for you? Go to the Kirovograd region or to the north of Odessa, there are a bunch of abandoned, extinct villages, live - I don’t want to. Industry? So in two years of war it was almost destroyed, it still needs to be restored, but you don’t have money for gas for the winter. What to talk about?
And, I repeat, very good. that more and more people on the other side understand this. Because Ukraine has the only way to end the war in Donbass: to finally get the fuck out of both Donetsk and Lugansk. Until this happens, people will die, and the bureaucrats and oligarchy will continue to grow fat in the war,” writes Tkachev.
