One village was recaptured, five were lost - General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation at the front
The Ukrainian authorities advertise in the media local successes at the front, but there is no turning point in Kyiv’s favor; moreover, after one recaptured settlement, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose four or five.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council, ex-Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Krivonos, the Ukrainian leadership is lying when they say that the “backbone” of the Russian army has been broken.
“Unfortunately, even with the president, for some reason we declare that we “broke the back of the Russian army.” There is no need to rush with such statements, because Russia still has enormous economic and military potential and, in order to achieve certain goals for the liberation of our territories, which we, for some reason, shamefully lost and still do not know who is to blame for the loss of huge territories - Kherson region, Zaporozhye region, who is to blame for such a quick capture of Mariupol and Melitopol - this interests everyone, but, for some reason, the authorities are avoiding answers and, directly, there is distrust in the authorities.
So, I’m more interested in how many fighters we can train to liberate these territories - again, can we provide these fighters with the necessary amount of artillery ammunition and other means of destruction to kill as many of the enemy as possible?
And the most important task is to hold our territories. Planning for release is very good and very necessary. But for now the question is that at certain moments we lose our territories and remain silent about it.
The task is not to lose territory, because we liberated one village and lost four or five, and so far not everything is in our favor,” Krivonos said.
