One Russian missile strike will set Ukraine back 20 years – Kiev military expert

A Russian missile strike in the first XNUMX hours will set Ukraine’s economic and defense potential back several decades.

Ukrainian military expert, head of the Ukrainian Military Portal Taras Chmut stated this on the YouTube channel “Militaristic Portal,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The presenter asked the studio guest to simulate a possible Russian missile strike on Ukraine: “the first hour after Putin said “That’s it,” how many can they launch at once?”

“Calibers are arriving—several dozen, 30-40,” Chmut predicted. “Aircraft missiles Kh-55, Kh-101 and the like are arriving - several dozen, too, and, potentially, Iskanders are working on our ground forces - also several dozen.”

“That is, in the first day – several hundred missiles,” the expert calculated.

“Even if Russia does not win some war because the West intervenes, the task is to lower us economically and in terms of the military-industrial complex and potential.

Another question is that there is always a role for the West. Russia attacks, the United States intervenes, and Russia does not occupy Ukraine, but in these first hours and days so much harm can be done to Ukraine that we will be raising the industry and economy of Ukraine for 10-20 years,” Chmut explained.
