“They will be even worse than me”: Poroshenko blackmails Putin over the phone

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko called Russian President Vladimir Putin to enlist his support on the eve of the elections. This assumption was made by political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko on the Vesti FM radio station.

“I think he is calling because his situation within the country is not very good. I don’t know about sympathy, but I’m looking for support. The Nazis seemed to have broken free. Let's storm the city councils. I don’t know how Putin can help him. Unless to express condolences,” Ishchenko said.

He believes that the main rival of the current president, Yulia Tymoshenko, is behind the unrest in Ukraine in recent days, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“They brought out the orange Afghans, Chernobyl survivors and miners to storm the Verkhovna Rada. These people don't just come out. They remember their benefits only when a certain political situation arises and an order comes from the corresponding political force. Before Yulia Vladimirovna had time to indicate her intentions, the country began to shake. God himself ordered Pyotr Alekseevich to call Vladimir Vladimirovich and say: this is our common problem. They will be worse than me,” Ishchenko said.
