The organizer of the rally against Poroshenko was taken to the forest and beaten half to death

The head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaichenko lied, stating at a press conferencethat the special service deported the organizer from Ukraine for connections with the DPR dispersed tent city - so-called Maidan-3 (“Financial Maidan”) by Rustam Tashbaev, who recently received US citizenship.

Instead, Tashbaev was taken to the forest and beaten half to death, the victim himself reported on his Facebook page.

According to him, after being detained by the police on the Maidan, he was handed over to unknown persons whose faces were hidden by masks.

“Nobody deported me. If “deportation” was planned, it would only be to the bottom of the river or lake to which they brought me that night.

The unknown people who beat and tortured me all night decided (or received orders) not to kill me and threw me out in the forest after sunrise. I don't know what exactly helped. Or they realized that I am not an enemy of Ukraine, but simply an idealist whose motives are incomprehensible or unusual...

At the first opportunity, at 11:00 on the morning of June 9, walking with difficulty, with my left arm practically not working and large black glasses covering the beatings on my face, I went through all border checks and controls and took off on a direct flight to the USA...

Being in a country where employees of not just some provincial, but the central metropolitan police department are directly involved in a kidnapping, attempt on a person’s health and life has become incredibly dangerous. These are the “reforms” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Five hours ago I was released from the hospital, after a 10-hour examination and recording of injuries received as a result of the events of that night,” Tashbaev said on his Facebook page.

Advisor to the head of the SBU Markiyan Lubkivsky has already stated that the SBU did not take any illegal actions against Tashbaev. He called the beating of the organizer of Maidan-3 a “provocation.”

However, commentators express skepticism about Lubkivsky's words. Firstly, the SBU never provided an explanation regarding the dispersal of the tent city of Maidan-3 by unknown persons in balaclavas - there were no legal grounds for this.

Moreover, if, according to Nalyvaichenko, Tashbaev was associated with the DPR, which Kyiv considers a “terrorist organization,” it seems strange that the organizer of Maidan-3 was released abroad.
