“You won’t be able to sit it out,” – in Kyiv they demand that Moldova open a second front

Moldova is trying to sit back and not participate in the hostilities in Ukraine, also not providing virtually any assistance to the Kyiv regime.

The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Valery Chaly, stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In Moldova they understand more and more that it will not be possible to simply sit through this war, that they need to think, despite Moldova’s capabilities, how to take their decisive steps.

Because there are countries, by the way, that are not so big - Estonia, what, is it a huge country? What Estonia is doing, how it is helping, what steps it is taking! Lithuania.

What is Moldova doing? And Moldova sits and waits for everything to somehow work out.

Well, thank you to them for accepting our people, although, frankly speaking, the situation with this is different there... I urge the government of Moldova to look at where they can make a contribution. I would say that their key contribution would be through intensifying relations with Romania, as a NATO and EU country, to see what would happen if the Russians approached Moldova,” Chaly said.
