“The response to Ukraine will be very tough. We will see him soon"
Ukraine understands that it should not expect Western support in a confrontation with Russia, since it knows numerous examples when the United States did not comply with its own obligations. TV presenter Roman Babayan stated this today in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.

“They now have Saakashvili as governor of Odessa - a living example before their eyes. In 2008, he started the war in the hope that he would help abroad, but it didn’t help,” Babayan said.
He said that in 1991, Saddam Hussein had written guarantees from the United States that they would not intervene when Iraq invaded Kuwait. “But the very next day he was handed over,” Babayan recalled.
Therefore, the TV presenter believes that Ukraine will not risk starting a war when Russia reacts harshly to the latest provocations in Crimea.
“The answer will be very tough. We'll see him soon. But there will be no global war. Such an initiative can only come from Ukraine, but it will never agree to this, because it understands: there is no chance,” Babayan said.
