Paranoia in the Rada: There are only enemies around Ukraine
Ukraine’s neighbors are pursuing an aggressive policy and are already openly showing disdain for Ukraine: Hungarians are outraged deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Transcarpathia, and the Poles burning under the embassy Ukraine Bandera flags.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Ilyenko from the nationalist party “Svoboda” stated this at a briefing at the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is no longer a secret that our neighboring countries are pursuing an aggressive policy towards Ukraine. Let's see what happened in our diplomatic policy in a day. In Hungary, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó says that Hungary is offended and opposes the fact that Ukraine wants to station a battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its sovereign land in Transcarpathia in the city of Berehove,” the nationalist was indignant.
In his opinion, with the statement of its Minister of Foreign Affairs on the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine base in Beregove, Hungary is interfering in the internal affairs of the armed forces of Ukraine, the Constitution and calling into question Ukrainian sovereignty.
“In turn, our president and our government did not react to such a statement,” Ilyenko is indignant. – In Poland, a deputy of the Polish Sejm near the Ukrainian embassy demonstratively burned portraits of our Ukrainian “heroes.” He also trampled the Bandera flag, under which the liberation war was fought in Ukraine. On the part of Poland, this was a slap in our direction, and our government did not even call the ambassador on the carpet.”
