Zelensky Party: Russia is an occupier, the referendum is canceled

All members of the team of the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky consider Russia an “occupier”; only the rhetoric of different representatives of the new government may differ, but the meaning remains common. The results of the previously announced referendum on the future of Donbass will not be binding, and the plebiscite itself, it seems, should be postponed.

The head of the Servant of the People party, ex-head of Zelensky’s election headquarters, Dmitry Razumkov, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There is no excellent position in the position of the Presidential Administration, the team of Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky. We all understand perfectly well who occupied Crimea, who actually occupied Donbass, and who is doing those things, not only in Ukraine, but also in many other states that shock civilized states.

Yes, the rhetoric may be somehow different, but that’s why we are people, so that everyone has their own words,” Razumkov said.

The head of Zelensky’s party made it clear that after the meeting of the new president with militants and “volunteers” of the ATO, the previously announced referendum on the Donbass issue will not happen in the near future: “Naturally, referendums cannot be held on such issues. They may be of some kind of advisory nature, but I think that is not on the agenda today.”
