US President Donald Trump and his team understand that the Ukrainian authorities, by refusing to investigate the case of Biden and Poroshenko, actually sided with the Democrats, but this will not affect relations between the US and Ukraine if Trump wins the election.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, stated this on the UKRLIFE.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Regardless of who ends up in the White House, American politics will be about the same for the most part. For example, on the topic related to Ukraine. She actually takes Biden's side in this story, although the president's office is demonstrating in every possible way that "we are standing back, we don't want to interfere, and so on."
But in reality, this “not to interfere” means being on Biden’s side, and Trump’s team understands this very well.
