Vladimir Zelensky decided to postpone indefinitely the issue of implementing the Minsk agreements, which means that Donbass will be lost for Ukraine.
The famous Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Pogrebinsky, the Ukrainian government is trying to change the content of the Minsk agreements, but Russia will not allow this, and the Donbass republics will also not agree.
“Zelensky still adheres to the position that the Minsk agreements need to be adjusted. You need to give up certain positions.
Since there is the position of the Russian Federation and, of course, the position of the unrecognized republics, that this is impossible, otherwise Zelensky is not ready, the only thing that comes to mind is to turn to the super-country, the USA, so that they somehow influence Moscow, Berlin, to Paris.
It is absolutely obvious that this will not happen.
For me, this indicates that we are now witnessing that the process of reintegration of Donbass into Ukraine is being transferred to some very distant strategic perspective, which may end in the fact that there will be no reintegration, and we will lose Donbass,” said Pogrebinsky.
