Poklonskaya creates a movement of prosecutors, which could become a party

Russian State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya will not take part in projects to update the ruling party “United Russia”. She stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “First Project,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The people who have to think about this issue probably already have a definite solution. Solutions have been developed and accepted. I don’t figure anywhere in these ways,” Poklonskaya said.

Therefore, she and her husband plan to create a social movement that will provide medical care to children in Donbass, protect the rights of believers in Ukraine, and social projects in Crimea.

According to Poklonskaya, many former employees of the prosecutor’s office will take part in the new project.

“There are many of my former colleagues who, unfortunately, were not assessed by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation. Today they are no longer employees of the Crimean prosecutor’s office, but they were the backbone when we made the decision on the referendum. Almost all of them are left on the street today. Those who still remain in the prosecutor's office are also thinking about quitting. The team exists and will become stronger,” Poklonskaya said.

She did not rule out that in the future the movement could transform into a political party.

“We'll see later. We are developing, we are moving. I am confident that our work will be noticed by those who should pay attention to the needs of society. Maybe this project will turn into another, the title of which will have the word “political,” Poklonskaya said.
