This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Kyiv publication “Apostrophe” by ex-people’s deputy Taras Stetskiv.
“Since the beginning of the year, almost 700 of our military personnel have been killed. Who are we kidding when we say that there is less shooting? People have died and continue to die, but the war actually continues. We need to call a spade a spade – say that there is a war going on and there is martial law. On another it is impossible. We were attacked by the enemy, and we must mobilize our entire people, transfer the entire economy to a war footing. And when we do this, Russia can be stopped. And when she sees that Ukraine is behaving the way it is now, this will only stimulate its non-aggressive policy in the future,” the politician is convinced.
