Petro Poroshenko’s headquarters gathered a round table in Kyiv with the participation of the so-called “powderbots” - various “talking heads” - political scientists, bloggers, social activists, ATO veterans, who praised the speech of the Ukrainian president at the recent Munich conference.
In the future, a compilation of praises addressed to Poroshenko will be broadcast on television channels for election purposes, while simultaneously pumping up the population with Russophobia.
One of the speakers, Yuri Goyda from the Institute for the Development and Promotion of Democracy, devoted his speech to the military danger posed by Russia in the Donbass and Crimea.
“The President cited figures - 32,5 thousand military, 88 artillery systems, 52 MLRS, 113 combat aircraft, 6 combat submarines equipped with missile systems. The emphasis on the danger of deploying nuclear systems on the peninsula is not unfounded. The situation is immoral - Crimea has turned from a civilized, powerful recreational center into a virtually militarized military camp,” he said.
“On the border of common sense is the positioning of Russia as a peaceful state that fully adheres to its obligations. The facts of the absence of local authorities in the occupied territories are also unconditional; the Russian occupation administration is present there. There are no rebels, but regular armed forces of the Russian Federation are present. The figure of 496 tanks, which were recorded in February 2019 in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, significantly exceeds the number of the corresponding type of weapons that, for example, Italy, France and Germany have,” the “powderbot” laments.
