Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is going to personally participate in testing the American Javelin anti-tank missile systems.
People's Deputy Irina Lutsenko reported this at the Conciliation Council of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The last two weeks, which the Ukrainian parliament rested, were significant and productive for Ukraine in terms of the work of the President of Ukraine. First of all, this is the strengthening of sanctions by the United States, their extension and expansion in the EU and Ukraine. The provision of American Javelins to Ukraine confirms the weakening of Russia in the international arena.
In addition, the president plans to take part in testing these Javelins at our test sites by the end of May,” she said.
