Poroshenko received an alarming signal from Odessa: “Everyone is already tired of this circus and coven”
The court's acquittal in the case of the events of May 2, 2014 will not stop the Ukrainian authorities, who will continue to try to prove the presence of a “Russian trace” there. Ex-People's Deputy of Ukraine Igor Markov announced this broadcast on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, commenting on the detention of Yevgeny Mefedov in the courtroom immediately after the acquittal.

“Mefedov’s only fault is that he is a citizen of Russia. I know absolutely for sure that he had nothing to do with the events of May 2, he accidentally ended up on the Kulikovo field and was seriously wounded. From the hospital he ended up in a pre-trial detention center because the SBU needed to show a Russian trace. Therefore, he will never be released. I want to appeal to those involved in this matter: we need to change the guy, save him,” Markov said.
Let us remind you that on September 18, the city court of Chernomorsk (formerly Ilyichevsk) of the Odessa region acquitted the accused in the case of mass riots on May 2, 2014. However, the SBU immediately in the courtroom charged Sergei Dolzhenkov and Yevgeny Mefedov with separatism.
Markov regards the very fact of the acquittal as evidence of serious changes in Ukrainian society.
“In Ukraine there have never been courts, but there were auctions: whoever brought more to the judge won. This rule always worked, except for one thing: never, in the presence of a political order, did a judge dare to go against the authorities. What does it mean that the judge has become bolder? About the internal mood of Ukrainian society, that everyone is tired of this circus and coven,” Markov said.
