Poroshenko never canceled the ATO
The scandalous law on the so-called “reintegration of Donbass”, according to which Russia is called an “occupier” and the punitive operation called “ATO” has ended, turned out to be a fiction.
The recently appointed commander of the Joint Forces, Sergei Naev, admitted this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us remind you that according to the law, the ATO was renamed the Joint Forces Operation. Now, before it starts, we need to wait for the decree of President Poroshenko.
“The anti-terrorist operation continues and will operate until the President of Ukraine, by his decree, announces the beginning of the Joint Forces Operation. This will happen only after I, as the commander and the joint operational headquarters subordinate to me, take certain measures to prepare for this operation. In particular, planning and other measures that will continue for some time,” Naev said.
