This was stated on the air of the Black Mirror talk show by Sergei Kaplin, a member of the Rada from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, and before that a member of Vitaliy Klitschko’s “Udar” party.
According to him, if electronic declaration were mandatory for former senior officials, it would turn out that they also had in their hands amounts of cash equal to the annual budget of Ukraine.
“Isn’t it clear that for the last 25 years Ukraine has been under financial occupation by the International Monetary Fund. Economic and social standards and economic policies that are convenient for them are imposed on us. They stepped on the throat of the Ukrainian economy and state and have been holding us back for 25 years. At the same time, we are a powerful and large country and, as evidenced by electronic declarations, we have appropriate reserves. If we carry out another round of E-declaration and shock former ministers, prime ministers, ex-governors, we will receive hundreds of billions of hryvnias more,” Kaplin said.
