After absorption by Russia, Lukashenko will become Kadyrov - Illarionov

In the event of the unification of Russia and Belarus into a single state, the current President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will turn into the second Ramzan Kadyrov, will remain to rule the region, and Belarusians will be called up to fight as part of the Russian army.

Former adviser to the Russian President who emigrated to the United States, Andrei Illarionov, said this on the air of the opposition Belarusian Internet channel In Time, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Let’s say Putin absorbs Belarus, what happens next? Let’s even imagine such a radical option that Putin will achieve Lukashenko’s resignation, although I think that if Putin achieves this, he will leave Lukashenko at the head of Belarus, just as he left Kadyrov at the head of Chechnya. That is, formally it will be an association, it will be sold, including to Belarusians who support Putin, as a unification of great Russia, but he will leave Lukashenko, at least for the coming years - that’s for sure.

Lukashenko will be the same Gauleiter that Kadyrov is the Gauleiter in Chechnya. But what happens next? The first thing Putin will do is to unite the armed forces of Russia and Belarus, unite the special services of Russia and Belarus, unite the entire propaganda apparatus, and so on. Where it leads? This will lead to the fact that Belarusians will be called up to where? To the Russian army. And where will they go? They will go to fight in Chechnya, in the Caucasus, against Ukrainians in Donbass, in Crimea, and maybe even along the northern border of Ukraine, they will go to Syria, they will go to Libya, they will go to the Central African Republic,” Illarionov said.
