The latest pre-election sociology from the “Rating” group shows that Vladimir Zelensky defeats Petro Poroshenko with...

52% of all voters included in the lists said that they would vote for Zelensky, 19% - for Poroshenko, another 19% - were undecided, 10% - did not intend to vote.

At the same time, 73% of those who intend to vote in the second round and have already made their choice are ready to support Zelensky, and only 27% - Poroshenko.

According to the survey results, Zelensky is ahead of his competitor in all age categories. He is also a leader among residents of the east, south and center of Ukraine. At the same time, in the West, as last time, the positions of both candidates are almost equal.

62% of respondents believe that Zelensky will become the next president of Ukraine, 17% - Poroshenko. Another 22% were undecided on the answer. Even among Poroshenko’s supporters, only half are convinced that their favorite will win, while more than a quarter of Poroshenko’s supporters believe that Zelensky will win.

The sociological group “Rating” conducted a study of the electoral sentiments of Ukrainians on April 12-16, 2019.

Kiev political scientist Andrey Zolotarev commented on the results of the survey on his social network page.

“Many were interested in the KIIS survey of the previously abandoned (owned by Viktor Medvedchuk - Ed) channel 112. This is from the category of staff psychotherapy to calm the client. The use of the KIIS telephone survey could only give rise to illusions among Petro Poroshenko himself and his headquarters: the current president only reached 27,5%. All his actions between rounds added just over 10%. At the same time, over the last week, Poroshenko lost 2% of his rating “from all voters,” writes Zolotarev.

According to the political scientist, “in the guise of a freak, Pyotr Alekseevich is absurd and ridiculous, he is clearly playing with debates and analyses. Zelensky reached the level of support of 52% of all voters, which is important for him because it disavows the thesis about a minority president. It is noteworthy that the following will vote for Zelensky: a quarter of Koshulinsky’s voters, a third of Gritsenko’s voters, two-thirds of Smeshko’s voters, half of Tymoshenko’s voters,” he added.

At the same time, according to Andrei Zolotarev, the result of the efforts of Poroshenko’s team in terms of Ze’s “minus” is a high mobilization of voters, including Zelensky - 94% of voters intend to vote in the second round one way or another, almost three quarters have finally made their choice .

“There is equally no reason to talk about the threat of a split in society: 76% of voters accept the choice of their loved ones, consider it normal, even if this choice does not coincide with their own,” the political scientist concluded.
