“Let’s see who’s right” - Lukashenko threatened the Kremlin with consequences for “poisoning with expensive gas”

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accused Russia of spoiling bilateral relations and asked to reduce the price of gas.

He stated this today at a meeting with ministers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Why are you poisoning our relationship? And so already poisoned to an extreme degree. If you want to help, make us a global natural gas price. Today in Europe, Russia sells natural gas no higher than $ 90 per thousand cubic meters. And we pay how much? We have 140, we pay 127.

Where is this price today? We don't ask for money or anything. Why skin us? But no one will talk about this in Russia.

Nobody needs this truth there. Guess three times - who. So don't bother us. When this all ends, we’ll see who’s right,” Lukashenko warned.

Earlier, in an interview with the Mir television company, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he considers a fair price of $45 per thousand cubic meters.
