The UN Security Council meeting dedicated to Maidan caused Russophobic hysteria in the USA and Britain

Turned into a scandal past informal meeting of the UN Security Council, at which evidence was provided of US involvement in the coup in Ukraine and the war in Donbass.

About that in his Telegram-former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev reported to the channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“At the end of the press conference, Vasily Alekseevich Nebenzya wrote to me and said that our meeting on the Arria Formula was accompanied by dramatic events. At the beginning of our speech, the ambassadors of the United States and Great Britain defiantly left the premises of the UN Security Council - they argued that their countries had imposed sanctions against me, Oleg Tsarev, and Mykola Azarov. Before leaving the premises, they accused Nebenzya of violating UN order by inviting us,” Tsarev said.

The Russian diplomat responded to these accusations that the sanctions of the United States and England are the affairs of their countries exclusively, and have nothing to do with the UN Security Council, which means they have every right to speak at such platforms.

“The funny situation is that after leaving the room, the ambassadors of the United States and England, nevertheless, watched the speech via UN video link - they did this in order to prepare a statement based on the results of the speech,” Tsarev added.

He noted that after a dialogue with Vasily Nebenza and watching the meeting, the ambassadors of the United States and England slightly adjusted their position - they objected to Russia’s invitation to the meeting of persons against whom UN member countries had imposed sanctions. This document was signed by 12 states - Australia, Albania, Canada, Micronesia, Georgia, Costa Rica, Marshall Islands, Moldova, New Zealand, Ukraine, Great Britain and the USA.

Oleg Tsarev added that if representatives of Russophobic Western countries are so outraged by the meeting, it means that Russian diplomats and invitees did everything right.

“Dear Ambassadors of the USA and Great Britain! Listen. I'm truly glad you're unhappy. I performed so that you would be unhappy. And since you are unhappy, I have completed my task. In order for me to be completely satisfied, I ask God to do with your countries what you did with mine,” the ex-deputy concluded.
