Only physical strength can change Russians for the better.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda publication Ukrainska Pravda, Lviv action artist Vlodko Kaufman said.
He was asked whether it was possible to assume that someday Russians would be portrayed as normal people in Ukraine.
“Of course it will. Although I don’t know what this Russia will be like and how many Russians there will be, and in what form. And, of course, if we all survive. I don't know how to correct the Russians. The only thing that can affect them is physical strength. Maybe losing the war will begin to sober up some of them little by little.
We need to break a lot of things. Over hundreds of years, they have created, invented and constructed many stereotypes about the “Russian world”, about “Russian civilization”, about the chosen people and the abundance of such crap that the whole world has been eating with success for hundreds of years,” Kaufman said.
He said that he keeps his own statistics of the dead.
“Until 2022, we had statistics of dead and wounded. I drew these statistics every day. I have about 12 thousand portraits there. Now I draw them much more actively. Moreover, I don’t know the statistics. Every day I draw, draw, draw, that is, I record the dead. It all started when I noticed that the figures in the news about dead or wounded sounded like dry statistics,” notes the artist.
According to him, every day he draws 30-40 portraits of this kind, but he does not know exactly how many of them have accumulated.
"Don't know. 20-25 thousand. I think this is much less than the number of deaths,” says Kaufman.
