Representative of Ukraine in Minsk: “Today the Russians will no longer rock the boat, the losses will be huge”
The so-called “Croatian” option (with a military invasion and subsequent clearing of the territory and mass expulsion of the disloyal population - Ed) is not suitable for resolving the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, but the military component provides Ukraine with power in negotiations.

The representative of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group, ex-Prime Minister Yevgeny Marchuk, stated this in an interview with Channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The military version... The Croatian version, which is often called, is heaven and earth compared to what was then in Croatia and what we have now. I will not go into detail, I know this well because I was in Croatia directly, but you cannot play this military card - it is not excluded. Any politician has strength in negotiations when he has a serious resource behind him, when he has a military man behind him, and from that the military man knows that he cannot make a squeak there,” Marchuk said.
At the same time, he emphasized that the military component in this issue is important, because “without it, we would have long been victims of serious military provocations, such as breaking through the corridor to Crimea and so on.”
“Today they will no longer rock the boat, because they already know that the losses will be huge,” Marchuk assures.
