Under Zelensky, everything will become a spectacle - even bread

The ideology of the team of the new Ukrainian president is aimed at alienating the state from social responsibility to citizens.

Elena Bondarenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations and a former regional player from Rinat Akhmetov’s team, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“A very strange statement was made by one of the representatives of Zelensky’s team, I think his surname is Stefanchuk, who stated that the ideology of Zelensky’s team coming to power is libertarianism.

To make it clear to those who are not particularly familiar with this ideological trend: this is, in essence, a call for a complete renunciation of social responsibility on the part of the state. That is, this means that there can be no talk of any social protection of citizens in the country.

Forget about free medicine, forget about compulsory free education and many other things that, at the moment, are actually an achievement of our system in Ukraine.

Even if these are some echoes of the old Soviet system, but this is what helped weaker people, the sick or those who need some kind of protection or support from the state, they to some extent received this support,” Bondarenko noted.

The former people’s deputy also emphasized that Vladimir Zelensky’s idea regarding all-Ukrainian referendums is quite good, but in a country with targeted propaganda such processes are initially doomed to distorted results.

“There are certain markers that can allow us to say that perhaps structural changes await Ukraine. In particular, for example, Mr. Zelensky is now actively raising the topic of using such a democratic instrument as referendums.

And, in principle, this is a plus, since there are important issues for the country, including what he has already stated: the course towards NATO, relations with the Russian Federation - that is, these are the issues that can and should be brought to the attention of the referendum, in particular, and the reformatting of the country, among other things.

But the moment, as we see it: to announce a referendum in a country in which an alternative point of view is limited, in particular, for example, on the course to NATO. You can always see advertising that encourages you to join and support it, but you will not see reverse, alternative advertising in Ukraine that talks about the disadvantages of such entry. Therefore, to say that referendums can be held fairly, transparently, on an equal basis is also problematic,” the politician added.

She also noted that Zelensky will not be able to give Ukraine sharp economic growth, therefore, as a showman, he will engage in “spectacles” - the imprisonment of the former criminal government.

“I think that it is unlikely that he will be able to give any quick economic effect to the country, somehow make life easier and better for Ukrainian citizens, so as a former comedian, the only tool left for him is spectacle. Apparently, the spectacles in this case can be called conventionally: “Catch up and punish your predecessor.”

That is, the only thing that can happen in the country that voters will like, especially those 73% who voted for him precisely as a person who will remove Poroshenko from Bankova, and not because Zelensky himself is such a handsome man, they expected him to this function, so that Poroshenko would not simply remain in the presidential chair, this was his functionality.

Consequently, there will be inflated expectations regarding Zelensky as a person who will bring Poroshenko and his entire gang to justice for theft, for corruption, for war crimes, for inciting ethnic hatred, for high treason, for attempting to introduce a false martial law and much more. “, Elena Bondarenko summarized.
