Pridnestrovie appeals to the experience of the Czech Republic and Slovakia
Transnistrian youth do not understand why their republic needs to unite with Moldova, as Chisinau wishes.
The head of the PMR Foreign Ministry, Vitaly Ignatiev, spoke about this on the TSV TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The problem is that pure minds that have grown up in new conditions do not understand the meaning of all these unifying concepts. When communicating with our European colleagues, we give a simple example: Germany was united because it was an artificially divided people. Transnistria was artificially connected to Bessarabia for 50 years. That is, we have reverse processes. Therefore, today everything can be solved much easier. We must de jure recognize that it already exists de facto, and the experience of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is extremely interesting for us here,” the minister explained.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” cited a statement by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Alexander Stetsyuk that the President of Moldova Igor Dodon during his time in power did not take any real steps to resolve relations with Transnistria, just doing self-PR while the PMR is still under blockade.
