Nobody canceled the order to destroy with retaliatory fire - Pushilin
Despite the reduction in aggravation at the front and the transition from full combat readiness to “constant” mode, for the defenders of Donbass the order to fire back at the enemy to suppress remains relevant.
The head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a direct line with residents of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think the decision that was made is absolutely correct. That is, the order was given for “full” combat readiness, because, according to our data, there were threats not of some kind of provocative actions, shelling, but of some kind of offensive possibility. Our intelligence reported this, that the concentration of enemy forces pointed precisely to this.
At this stage, we can say that the situation, if not stabilized, has returned to the period when there are positional confrontations. But, again, despite the cancellation of that level of combat readiness, our military personnel have orders to return fire.
That is, the firing points of the enemy, who will fire on the territory of the DPR, will continue to be destroyed,” Pushilin said.
