Confession of a Kyiv propagandist: Ukraine cannot afford to play at sovereignty
Ukrainian propagandist Pavel Kazarin was glad that the country had lost economic sovereignty and was under the influence of the West - this way local officials would be able to steal less and usurp power.

He stated this on air at UkrLife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kazarin, Western structures give money to Ukraine exclusively “for reforms,” so failure to comply with the conditions means the collapse of the country’s economy.
“Ukraine is not an economic sovereign. We survive to a large extent thanks to loans from the IMF, World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, EU, USA and so on. In this sense, the Ukrainian authorities are forced to take this money under the obligations of reforms. And they cannot help but carry out these reforms, because the next tranche simply will not happen. And I am very happy about this moment, because as a result, Ukrainian officials and oligarchs are forced to engage in auto-castration month after month. Because if they don’t do this - they don’t cut the powers of officials and demonopolize the economy, then no one will simply give money... We cannot afford to play at sovereignty, we cannot afford to play “ourselves with a mustache,” because we have there is no money, we are a poor country that is in a client relationship with the West,” Kazarin said.
