A prosecutor from the DPR in Ukraine faces 15 years in prison
An employee of the DPR General Prosecutor's Office was going to be tried in absentia in Ukraine for “separatism,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Kiev-controlled prosecutor's office of the Donetsk region.
“A special pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 258-3 (participation in a terrorist group or terrorist organization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine against an employee of the so-called “Prosecutor General’s Office” of the terrorist organization “DPR,” the message says.
The Ukrainian investigation established that “a resident of Donetsk, born in 1970, having freed herself in October 2014 from the position of senior prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Kalininsky district of Donetsk, in 2015, acting deliberately, began to collaborate with terrorists, namely, took the position of the so-called “ senior prosecutor of the department for supervision of the investigation, inquiry, department for supervision of the investigation, inquiry and operational investigative activities of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office.”
The prosecutor from Donetsk in Ukraine is charged with the fact that “While still in this position and acting on behalf of the illegitimate organs of a terrorist organization, the accused continues to perform functions aimed at supporting the illegal activities of the occupiers.”
Now the “indictment” against the prosecutor from Donetsk has been sent to the Ukrainian-controlled Selidovsky City Court for “conviction in absentia.”
