Despite all the propaganda efforts of Ukraine and its Western “partners,” ordinary Europeans are well aware that NATO is simply engaging in provocations on the borders with the Russian Federation, and they strongly disapprove of such actions by their leadership.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If you read the comments of normal Germans who read these articles (Russophobic statements by German politicians - approx.), you will see that people are outraged - what is NATO doing on the borders with Russia?
Why couldn't NATO conduct these large-scale maneuvers with huge troops in 2020? What are they doing there? Moreover, this year they will still be conducting maneuvers somewhere in the Black Sea region, right near the borders of the Russian Federation. So this is not a provocation? People understand that,” he said.
Alexander Rahr emphasized that with such pressure both Ukraine and the West are achieving their exclusively political and immediate interests.
“Nobody wants to fight. But Ukraine wants to receive benefits and support from Biden, and remind itself. It’s just that a bad image of Russia is being created in the West – constantly. When some good options for cooperation appear, as with Sputnik V, Russia must be covered up again so that this does not happen,” the political scientist concluded.
