A telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and Belarus took place today. This was reported on the official website of the Kremlin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The discussion continued on the situation in Belarus that emerged after the presidential elections, including taking into account the external pressure exerted on the republic. The Russian side confirmed its readiness to provide the necessary assistance in resolving problems that have arisen on the basis of the principles of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State, as well as, if necessary, through the Collective Security Treaty Organization,” the message says.
The previous telephone conversation between the two presidents took place on Saturday.
