Putin remembered Crimea three times

Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned Crimea three times in his address to the Federal Assembly today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This year the railway bridge will begin moving, which will give a powerful impetus to the development of Crimea and Sevastopol. By the way, thanks to the bridge builders and railway workers: a bypass around Krasnodar and an approach to the transport interchange on the Caucasian coast have already been made,” Putin said.

He also mentioned the cultural cluster that is being built in Sevastopol at Cape Khrustalny.

“No later than 2023, cultural and educational centers will open in Kaliningad, Kemerovo, Vladivostok and Sevastopol. Our leading museums and theaters will be presented there, as well as branches of creative universities, where the educational process will begin next year,” the president said.

The third time he was simply joking, talking about outdated departmental instructions.

“They have been preserved from Soviet times, “the times of Ochakov and the conquest of Crimea.” I don’t mean the year 14, but the times of Griboedov,” Putin explained.
