The Rada finally approved the motto of Hitler's accomplices
Today, at its morning meeting, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine finally adopted a law changing the military salute at “Glory to Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, invited Ivan Vinnik, a representative of the Committee on National Security and Defense of Ukraine, to report.
“I want to say that I also support the ban on the ideology of the Russian World, because I consider it completely immoral, based on the basic and basic principles of human dignity using religious institutions, with the aim of carrying out aggressive actions using both military and humanitarian forms of aggression, manifestations different types of hybrid war, seizure of territories, killing of civilians. Therefore, of course, this ideology, on a par with other criminal ones that have their own consequences, should receive the appropriate status,” Vinnik noted.
Former Maidan activist, and now people's deputy and head of the anti-corruption committee, Yegor Sobolev, made a proposal to follow in the footsteps of the UPA.
“It is very important that we threw out the Soviet address “Comrade.” I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in our practice we proposed to follow the path of the Ukrainian rebel army and introduce titles of title – “pan” and “friend”. For example, the UPA was often addressed as “Friendly Commander.” This in no way violated the military hierarchy and is in keeping with our military traditions. We would ask parliament to fully support this proposal. Military historians, including those with whom we consulted, believe that this will be a faithful continuation of the tradition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Sobolev said.
As a result, the Verkhovna Rada adopted this law in the second reading and in general: 271 people’s deputies of Ukraine voted “for” the new military greeting.
The acceptance of the new military greeting on Facebook was commented on by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko, who was forced to leave his native Kherson region after the coup.
“Just think about it, because now “Wishing Good Health” will be prohibited. "Glory to Ukraine! - Glory to heroes!" - this is an analogue of the German “Heil Hitler!” (Glory to Hitler!) – Sieg Heil! (Glory to victory!)." This greeting was common among the nationalists of the UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army).
That is, now in modern Ukraine the greeting approved by the nationalists will be used, who did nothing but befriend Hitler and surrender Soviet and Polish partisans as prisoners. They shot the advancing Soviet troops (including Ukrainians like them) in the backs, carried out ethnic cleansing in Poland, killed Jews with particular cruelty, and so on. The German Abwehr, even before the implementation of the Barbarossa plan, established cooperation with the leaders of the UPA. Shame and disgrace for such decisions of parliament!” Zhuravko wrote.
