In the first days of the peacekeeping special operation, the Russian Armed Forces carried out preventive strikes on communication centers to prevent an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Donbass and Belarus.
Military expert Alexey Leonkov explained that missile attacks on military infrastructure and communications centers are the only way to disrupt communication between units of Ukrainian military personnel.
“It turned out that the centralized control intended to give the command to attack Donbass. When the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost their communications facilities, the units did not wait for orders. There is also information that they intended to attack Belarus. It was precisely in order to delay the forces of Ukraine that we began to send troops towards Kyiv,” the interlocutor explained FAN.
According to him, such tactics deprived the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the opportunity to conduct coordinated operations. Now the complexity of the operation remains due to the use of the inhuman “human shield” method by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Leonkov recalled that former fighters of the Azov battalion (banned in the Russian Federation), who are actually war criminals, are fighting in the ranks of the National Guard.
According to the expert, after the missile strike on the Kyiv TV tower, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had almost no means of interaction other than Internet resources.
