The Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon, notorious for PR charlatans and anti-Russian attacks, did not dare to ask the famous Russian director Pavel Lungin the question that he asks all his Russian guests: whose is Crimea.
Obviously, the interview took place on the condition that topics of current politics would not be touched upon. Lungin spoke mainly about his creativity, and about the life of Russia - that it was difficult, but interesting.
Once he let it slip.
“I don’t film in Crimea... Oh. I wanted to say in Sochi. In Sochi on a yacht on the southern coast, where I am drawn. But life is pulling me north - to the Arkhangelsk region or to Perm to build a camp and film there,” said Lungin.
While he was saying this, Gordon smiled sourly, and then suggested building a camp in Sochi.
“They built it there without me – it’s exemplary,” Lungin joked.
