Russian aviation made a splash in Kyiv
Irina Lutsenko, the presidential godfather and part-time representative of Petro Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada, got confused in her testimony, talking about the threat of a Russian invasion from several directions at once.
In an interview with the ZiK TV channel, Lutsenko announced that Russian troops in Transnistria and Belarus are preparing for an offensive operation.
At the same time, Lutsenko announced that Russian aviation would take 8 hours to fly to Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What prompted the imposition of this martial law? I'll give you intelligence information. On the border with Ukraine, Russia has concentrated about 500 military aircraft, which have a large number of flights in Syria.
This means that these Russian military have removed the stop valve for bombing civilians.
Today, about 340 military aviation helicopters are concentrated on the border with Ukraine.
Both planes and helicopters can fly to Kyiv in eight hours.
Twenty-five battalion tactical groups of Russian aviation.
The number of Russian military personnel in Crimea has been tripled. The number of armored personnel carriers has increased three or five times,” the politician said.
According to Irina Lutsenko, Russia has been preparing for an open attack on Ukraine since 2016.
“I’ll remind you where they came from. April 2018 – military exercises began in Crimea. August 2018 - Russians conducted military exercises in the Black Sea.
September 2017 – Russia did not withdraw all forces from the territory of Belarus after the joint exercises “Zapad-2017”. I want to draw special attention to this. Incredibly large-scale exercises were held in Belarus, which were called “Zapad” - “seizure of a Western state”, then this was the goal. And then all Western partners, and even observers from NATO, said that the Russian Federation did not withdraw and return to the deployment points, but concentrated them near the Ukrainian border, and even in Transnistria.
This means that Putin has been purposefully preparing, since 2016, for open aggression against Ukraine,” she concluded.
Note that passenger planes need not eight, but only one and a half hours to fly from Moscow to Kyiv. It is not difficult to guess how long it will take Russian military aircraft stationed at border airfields to fly to the Ukrainian capital.
