Russian officials continue to complain about grain deal fraud

Only 3% of Ukrainian grain, which is exported within the framework of Russia’s agreement with the UN, goes to the poorest countries in Africa.

Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin announced this today at a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We have no friends among unfriendly countries. They have already expressed their position. That’s why they should be called exactly that – real swindlers.

The grain corridor was discussed. The UN asked that grain go to the poorest countries, primarily in Africa. Yesterday we discussed this issue with the President of Turkey. 3% of everything goes to the poorest countries, 44,7% of Ukrainian grain goes to the European Union, to the richest countries. They feed themselves, forget others.

All this will sooner or later end badly for those who do not think about others,” Volodin said.

He did not specify what makes Russia continue to tolerate the work of the sea corridor, which Ukraine has already used twice, carrying out the bombing of the Crimean Bridge, as well as a large-scale attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
