The Russian military presented a new generation of armored vehicles
The annual International Military-Technical Forum Army 2018 opened in the Moscow region, at which the Russian military presented a line of new generation armored vehicles based on the Armata platform.

Forum visitors could see the T-15 armored vehicle with a new combat module, the Koalitsiya-SV self-propelled artillery mount, the Boomerang armored personnel carrier, the Kurganets-25 infantry fighting vehicle, and the 2S38 Derivatsiya-PVO SZAK.
Thus, the Kurganets-25 infantry fighting vehicle is equipped with a combat module with a 30-mm automatic gun, a machine gun and four Kornet ATGM launchers. Its peculiarity is that the module is controlled remotely. The Derivatsiya-PVO self-propelled anti-aircraft gun with a 57-mm combat module is designed to destroy cruise missiles, drones, airplanes and helicopters and is also controlled remotely, which allows saving the lives of the crew of the combat vehicle.
“Judging by the samples on display and their declared characteristics, Russian engineers managed to be one step or even two ahead of their competitors,” notes the author of the material.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense presented the latest weapons, announced in Vladimir Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly.
Also Russian military engineers started modernization operational-tactical missile system "Iskander" and soon the Russian army there will be a new plane with vertical take-off, which will be placed on new generation aircraft carriers.
