Russian Crimea comes to the aid of evacuees from Donbass

In Crimea, on the basis of municipal administrations, humanitarian aid is currently being collected for residents of the DPR and LPR. The United Russia party cells, which are responsible for coordinating the entire action, joined the collection.

The party’s volunteers have gained experience in communicating with the population during periods of water shortage and delivering food to pensioners during lockdown. Not without PR scandals against the backdrop of party flags, of course.
All collected humanitarian aid will be delivered to Simferopol to the territory of the Tavrida printing house by lunchtime. Then the trucks will go to Rostov.

In Simferopol, humanitarian aid is accepted at three markets: Central, Kuibyshevsky and Zalessky.

“Collection points are open from 9.00 to 14.00. We need food with a long shelf life, warm clothes, hygiene items and basic necessities,” said Maxim Balakhonov, the acting head of the Simferopol administration. “There are a lot of children, so we need diapers, baby clothes, baby food.”

In Sevastopol, the collection of humanitarian aid began on Friday. The cargo is being prepared for shipment to the Rostov region tomorrow. The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, counted the available places in accommodation facilities and gave the exact figure to the federal headquarters - 544 people. The Crimean authorities avoid specifics.

“Crimeans always come to the aid of compatriots in trouble, and have already actively participated in this work. No refugee should feel abandoned. “United Russia” party structures in Crimea, deputies, and the party’s volunteer center have already begun collecting humanitarian aid, the first part of which will be sent in the coming days,” Vladimir Konstantinov, speaker of the Crimean parliament and leader of local United Russia members, said on his social media page.

However, refugees from the DPR and LPR are already arriving in Crimea, staying with friends and acquaintances. The Kerch branch of the Red Cross appealed to the townspeople with a request to share cots, because people have nowhere to sleep. The only option for resettlement is children's health camps, which are now empty. But they are not heated and there is nothing to feed the refugees in them.
