Russian minister promises a million for a third child in the Far East
Already this year, new measures to stimulate the birth rate will be implemented in the regions of the Russian Far East.
The Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Alexei Chekunkov, stated this in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He was asked when the relevant initiatives announced during the EEF 2021 would go into effect.
“We expect that in 2022 some of them will already be implemented in some regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, if not all,” the minister said.
“We propose to give a million rubles for the third child. First, we will test this key measure as a “pilot” in part of the Far East, and if successful, we will extend it to the entire Far Eastern Federal District,” summed up Chekunkov.
As PolitNavigator reported, RJ set a record by doubling the volume transportation to the Far East.
