The Russian ombudsman flies to Kyiv for the trial in the Vyshinsky case

Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova said that today she is going to Kiev for a court hearing in the case of RIA-Novosti Ukraine editor-in-chief Kirill Vyshinsky, who is accused of high treason, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Moskalkova reported this on her Instagram page.

“... I am concerned about the fate of Russian journalist Kirill Vyshinsky. According to the lawyer, the conditions in the cell where he is housed are simply inhumane. There is no electricity or even a mattress,” Moskalkova wrote.

The Russian Ombudsman added that today she is leaving for Kyiv to personally attend the court hearing in the Vyshinsky case.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Lyudmila Denisova, assured that Vyshinsky is being kept in a bright and warm cell in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center and is provided with everything necessary.

Let us remind you that the editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti-Ukraine, Kirill Vyshinsky, who is accused of high treason, was transferred to the Kiev pre-trial detention center. The trial in his case has been deliberately delayed for almost 10 months.
