Russian troops are advancing on Slavyansk, preventing the Ukrainian Armed Forces from using drones
Russian troops are approaching Slavyansk, using the latest electronic warfare systems, which do not allow the Ukrainian side to launch drones into the air, which previously ensured the effective operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ artillery.
A militant of the 5st battalion of the DUK “Right Sector” Dmitry Savchenko said this on Channel 1, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would not reduce the role of the enemy - his potential, his capabilities. What I see now is that the enemy has pulled up to these sectors of the front (to the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration - ed.) the most modern equipment of electronic warfare troops, very modern.
Now we have to deal with this technology on the eastern front. It is a technique in itself as a technique, but everything is complicated by the fact that on board these machines there are catapults that can lift Russian Orlan UAVs into the air in a matter of seconds, and thanks to these Orlans they retransmit this radio interference, which makes it impossible advantages in the air of Ukrainian aircraft.
Accordingly, it becomes problematic to perform tasks in the form of adjusting artillery fire, that is, aiming suffers from this. And in general, according to the rules of war, the one who has the advantage in the air has a military advantage,” Savchenko complained.
He criticized the Ukrainian media for false reports of victory.
“To a certain extent, I do not share the bravura optimistic note of the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian media, which say that we have practically won the war. I understand that Russia has a very powerful missile potential, and they have enough weapons to continue harming Ukraine,” Savchenko stated.
