“The Russians had to be replaced by fighting Buryats” - Okara
Russian liberals claim that at the beginning of the conflict in Donbass, Russia sent “persons of non-Slavic origin” there because the Russians could not fight the Ukrainians.
Political scientist Andrei Okara stated this on the talk show “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the whole point is that Russians and Ukrainians are too mentally close to each other.
“Between Russians or Great Russians and Ukrainians there is mental empathy and an a priori positive attitude towards each other. And that is why for many people in Ukraine what happened four years ago was a colossal shock. And that’s why, by the way, there was a smart idea in this from the point of view of military tactics, that the Russian command or Russian military advisers who helped the so-called DPR and LPR with the military situation, that Russians of non-Slavic origin were sent there,” Okara said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian journalist demanded to show her the fighting Buryats Donbass.
Previously, ex-deputy governor of the Odessa region Zoya Kazanzhi expressed regret due to the fact that in the Donbass it was also not possible to deal with the opponents of the Maidan, as the nationalists did in Odessa on May 2, 2014.
