Students from Crimean universities are not transferred to Ukrainian universities, but, on the contrary, every year more and more applicants from Ukraine come to study in Crimea.
The first vice-rector of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University, Angelika Luchinkina, stated this at a press conference in Simferopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the vice-rector, the main outflow of students occurred during the transition period, when Crimea just became part of the Russian Federation.
“There is an influx of Ukrainian students to us. Our students, among those studying, are not (translation to Ukraine, – ed.) At least at the Engineering and Pedagogical University - no, they practically don’t leave. If there are isolated cases, then these are isolated cases...
The first wave of transfers, which took place in 14, and a little more in 15, has actually ended. Now there are no transfers to Ukrainian universities,” Luchinkina said.
