Saakashvili will continue to stir up trouble in Ukraine
The fugitive ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, living in exile in the Netherlands, decided to try himself in a new role. After the post of governor of the Odessa region, the extradited politician will become the host of a program on the Ukrainian TV channel ZIK, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The announcement of the program says that Saakashvili will tell Ukrainians about this or that presidential candidate and reveal their secret sides.
“Jokers. The Path to the President” – a new season with a new presenter, whom the whole world knows. He is the president, but he is not running. But he will tell you what the candidates are capable of. This is Mikheil Saakashvili,” says the promotional video.
Previously fugitive Georgian politician announced plans to return to Ukraine, but only after the presidential elections, which are due to take place in the spring of next year.
Recently, associates of Mikheil Saakashvili, who promised to cancel criminal cases against him, lost the presidential election in Georgia. In Tbilisi, on charges of illegally purchasing weapons and preparing riots, they were militants who arrived from Ukraine along with Verkhovna Rada deputy Semyon Semenchenko were detained.
