The Livadia sanatorium was bought by a monarchist

Resort Livadia LLC, part of the Tsargrad group of companies, was recognized as the winner of the open auction for the sale of the Livadia sanatorium, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The sanatorium was purchased for 509 million rubles, with the initial sale price of the property being more than 396 million rubles. Land plots with an area of over 26 square meters and buildings were sold, as well as three cultural heritage sites of regional significance: “Laundry with an iron room, early 000th century”, “Small service house, early XNUMXth century”, “Suite House, XNUMXth century” .

The chairman of the Tsargrad group of companies is Orthodox businessman Konstantin Malofeev. He commented on the purchase in Crimea to his TV channel.

“For every Russian person who loves his homeland, Livadia is a real symbol of Tsarist Russia, and not just a palace and a park. Therefore, for me, as a monarchist, it is very important that this place develops in accordance with its unique historical environment. We intend to return Livadia to a look that will best suit the design of the brilliant architect Krasnov, the author of the Livadia Palace.

On the site of Soviet concrete buildings that have fallen into complete disrepair, a world-class resort will be built in the same “Renaissance” style as the palace ensemble. The resort will retain its cardiological treatment focus, since the Livadia climate is unique for heart patients. We will attract the best specialists in the field of historical architecture, resort and hotel business to develop the project,” Malofeev said.

The Sevastopol publication “Note” drew attention to the fact that the second participant in the auction, JSC Sanatorium Livadia, was registered two months ago in Simferopol and is the only company of a certain Alexander Bychenko. The publication multiplied the area of premises in the sanatorium by the price per square meter of housing in Livadia and came to the conclusion that the sanatorium should have cost at least 1,6 billion.

It is known that Malofeev actively supported the Russian Spring movement in Crimea and Donbass.
