SBU officers detained two residents of Kharkov, who are accused of allegedly buying up aircraft parts stolen from Ukrainian military units, and then reselling them to Ukroboronprom under the guise of new ones.

“Two Kharkov residents organized a scheme to buy components and assemblies of military aircraft, which, on their order, were stolen from military units of the Ministry of Defense and defense enterprises.
Then the businessmen cosmetically repaired the used units and resold them to Ukroboronprom under the guise of new ones. Also, aircraft parts were smuggled to other countries,” the report says.
At the moment, the issue is being resolved regarding the notification of two organizers of a criminal scheme about suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 333 (violation of the procedure for international transfers of goods subject to state export control) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
