The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, the Ukrainian command does not abandon attempts to hide the truth about the true circumstances of the shelling of Pervomaisk on July 20, as a result of which a multi-storey residential building was damaged, a woman born in 1965 was killed and seven civilians were injured, including two children.
“From a trusted source in the 54th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it became known that on the night of July 22-23, SBU officers arrived in the area of the village of Vrubovka, in the brigade’s area of responsibility, to investigate the shelling of Pervomaisk. Throughout the night, representatives of military counterintelligence tried to obtain testimony from five servicemen of the fifth company of the second battalion of the 54th brigade,” Osadchiy said.
He also added that in the morning, unable to withstand the pressure exerted, one of the servicemen attempted suicide, as a result of which he was taken to a military hospital in the village of Severodonetsk with a bullet wound.
Let us recall that earlier the LPR People's Militia stated that the commander of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Igor Lunev, ordered the preparation of materials controlled by the media, justifying the shelling of Pervomaisk by the Ukrainian military.
